JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Sea Freight Operation Officer to take end-to-end ownership of maritime import and export corridors. This individual will orchestrate port-to-port and door-to-door ocean freight workflows, optimize shipping liner selections, manage containerized structures (FCL/LCL), and closely manage documentation flows to avoid operational bottlenecks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
End-to-End Coordination: Execute, track, and monitor ocean import/export shipments globally, ensuring efficient carrier assignment and transit timeline management.
Documentation Mastery: Supervise the execution, auditing, and processing of critical maritime documentation including House/Master Bills of Lading (HBL/MBL), manifests, sea waybills, and Delivery Orders.
Freight & Space Procurement: Negotiate rates and secure optimal vessel space allocations with major global shipping lines and consolidation networks.
Demurrage Mitigation: Proactively collaborate with customs brokers, transitors, and dry ports to assure swift gate-outs, reducing container dwell times and avoiding costly penalties.
Stakeholder Communication: Deliver real-time milestones and solutions to high-profile corporate accounts regarding routing delays or exceptions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics & Transport Management, Business Administration, or a matching related field.
Experience:Minimum of 4 to 5 years of verifiable, hands-on experience handling ocean freight forwarding operations inside a professional logistics provider framework.
