Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or with related field of study.

Experience: 5 years experience as a Structural Engineer out of which 1 year experience in an international company is advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Design structures

• Create structural models by using computer-aided design software

• Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence

• Follow construction safety guidelines

• Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications

• Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise.

• Track and report on project progress

• Collaborate with contractors and project managers 

• Prepare reports, designs, and drawings.

• Make calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses.

• Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.

• Obtain planning and construction regulations approval.

• Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.

• Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers.

• Administer contracts and manage projects.

• Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations.

• Use computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes.
