On behalf of our client, YYDTS Personal Care PLC, we are looking for a successful candidate to fill the position of Social Media Manager, located in Meskel Flower area, Addis Ababa. The position is open only for female candidates.

YYDTS PERSONAL CARE PLC: – Enlisting both mass-market and premium Beauty & Personal Care (BPC) brands to primarily serve the local and pan-African markets, YYDTS’ first endeavour, with almost 10 years in the making, is the development of its premium brand TILLA.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager located in Addis Ababa. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing social media marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, implementing content strategies, optimizing social media platforms, and writing compelling copy.

• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
• Create and curate engaging content (text, images, videos, stories, reels) aligned with our brand voice and objectives.
• Plan and manage a content calendar and ensure timely publishing.
• Monitor performance and analyze key metrics (reach, engagement, conversion, etc.) to optimize strategy.
• Collaborate with internal departments (sales, HR, design, operations) to support campaigns and promotions.
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay up to date with current trends, tools, applications, and best practices in social media.
• Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets.
• Work with graphic designers, photographers, or videographers as needed.
• Prepare monthly reports on performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a social media manager or in a similar role. (7+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and ability to develop engaging and viral content.
• Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
• Experience in paid social media advertising and campaign management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
