1.Position Summary:
ROMEL is looking for a charismatic and digitally-savvy Social Media Manager & Host to be the public face and voice of our brand online. This unique role combines strategic community management with on-camera presentation skills. You will be responsible for developing engaging content, growing our social communities, and personally hosting live sessions, product demonstrations, and video features to humanize the ROMEL brand and drive deep engagement.

2. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Content Strategy & Creation:

• Develop and execute the social media content calendar across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Telegram).

• Conceptualize, script, and personally host/present engaging video content including product showcases, “how-to” tutorials, behind-the-scenes factory tours, live Q&As, and event coverage.

• Produce high-quality photos, reels, stories, and graphics that tell the ROMEL story in an authentic and compelling way.

Community Management & Engagement:

• Serve as the primary community manager, responding to comments and messages in a timely, professional, and brand-appropriate tone.

• Foster meaningful conversations and build relationships with followers, partners, and influencers online.

• Monitor social trends and conversations to identify relevant opportunities for engagement and content creation.

Campaign Execution & Analytics:

• Implement paid social media advertising campaigns to support product launches, promotions, and lead generation.

• Manage the ROMEL Short Code promotional campaigns on social media, driving sign-ups and engagement.

• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (growth, engagement, reach, conversion) and derive actionable insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Brand Manager to ensure all social content is on-brand.

• Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to promote events and showcase event highlights in real-time.

• Source user-generated content and success stories from customers and partners.

 Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing social media channels for a brand, with a proven portfolio of video content you have created and hosted.

• Natural on-camera presence, with excellent Amharic presentation and speaking skills. Proficiency in English is a plus.

• Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and advertising tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager).

• Creative, energetic, and genuinely interested in engaging with an online community.
