The Second Life Project aims to support vulnerable and marginalized individuals through inclusive social support, capacity building, and reintegration services. The project focuses on improving access to education, skills training, psychosocial support, and livelihood opportunities for beneficiaries facing social and economic challenges.

Job Summary

The Social Worker will provide psychosocial support and social assistance to project beneficiaries in Dire Dawa, supporting their social reintegration through counseling, follow-up, and coordination with service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct social assessments of beneficiaries

  • Provide psychosocial support and counseling

  • Support beneficiaries to access health, education, and social services

  • Conduct regular follow-ups with beneficiaries

  • Work closely with the project team and partners

  • Prepare reports and maintain proper documentation

  • Ensure confidentiality and protection of beneficiaries

Job Requirements

Required Qualification

  • BA Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience

  • Experience working with vulnerable groups is preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic computer skills
