We are a non-governmental organization (NGO) working to support and protect vulnerable children. We are looking for a skilled, qualified, and committed Social Worker to join our team.
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field of study with relevant work experience.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably working with vulnerable children or communities.

Location: Kenene near kidanemihret church
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide social work support and services to vulnerable children and families.
Conduct assessments and follow up on children’s needs and wellbeing.
Support case management and referrals when necessary.
Maintain accurate and confidential case records.
Prepare regular reports and documentation.
Work closely with families, communities, schools, and other relevant partners.
Participate in child protection and community activities.
Support the organization’s communication and social media activities when required.
Skills & Competencies
Good understanding of child protection and social work practices.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work professionally and respectfully with vulnerable children and families.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic digital documentation.
Experience using social media and digital communication platforms is an advantage.
Ability to prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and manage case-related documentation.
Commitment to child safeguarding, confidentiality, and ethical professional practice.
