We are a non-governmental organization (NGO) working to support and protect vulnerable children. We are looking for a skilled, qualified, and committed Social Worker to join our team.

Job Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field of study with relevant work experience.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably working with vulnerable children or communities.

Location: Kenene near kidanemihret church

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide social work support and services to vulnerable children and families.

  • Conduct assessments and follow up on children’s needs and wellbeing.

  • Support case management and referrals when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential case records.

  • Prepare regular reports and documentation.

  • Work closely with families, communities, schools, and other relevant partners.

  • Participate in child protection and community activities.

  • Support the organization’s communication and social media activities when required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good understanding of child protection and social work practices.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work professionally and respectfully with vulnerable children and families.

  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic digital documentation.

  • Experience using social media and digital communication platforms is an advantage.

  • Ability to prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and manage case-related documentation.

  • Commitment to child safeguarding, confidentiality, and ethical professional practice.
