Job Summary
Shebelay Resort is seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our esteemed culinary team. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation. This role requires creativity, strong leadership, and excellent organizational skills within a high-end hospitality environment.
This position is ideal for a passionate culinary professional ready to advance their career in a dynamic and fast-paced resort kitchen
Job Requirement
- Education:
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
- COC Level 4 or above (Competency Certification required)
- Qualification:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high-end hotel or restaurant kitchen
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of diverse cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
