The Store Keeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and recording materials, spare parts, and finished goods to ensure accurate stock records, safe storage, and timely availability of items for operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Receive and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.

  2. Verify quantity, quality, and specifications before accepting items into the store.

  3. Record all receipts, issues, and transfers accurately in stock cards and ERP systems.

  4. Issue materials to production, maintenance, and other departments against authorized requests.

  5. Maintain proper storage, labeling, and bin locations for all items.

  6. Apply FIFO / FEFO principles in storing and issuing materials.

  7. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances.

  8. Report shortages, damages, expiries, or slow-moving items to the supervisor.

  9. Ensure the store is clean, organized, safe, and compliant with safety standards.

  10. Prevent loss, theft, misuse, or damage of company inventory.

  11. Coordinate with Procurement and Inventory Control on stock replenishment.

  12. Support internal and external audits related to inventory.

  13. Prepare stock movement and balance reports as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

  • 0–1 years of experience as Store Keeper or Warehouse Clerk (manufacturing preferred).

  • Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and stock management tools.

  • Good numeracy and record-keeping skills.
