Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and results-oriented Store Manager to oversee inventory control and store operations across our project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of construction materials, tools, and equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records and full compliance with company procedures.

 Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement or with related field of study

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a store keeper or store supervisor.

  • Industry Background: Demonstrated experience managing construction materials, tools, equipment, and inventory tracking systems on active construction project sites is highly preferred.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in construction site store management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inventory Control: Receive, inspect, verify, and record all incoming materials, supplies, and equipment in accordance with company procedures.

  • Material Issuance: Issue tools and materials against approved requisitions, ensuring precise documentation for every transaction.

  • Stock Preservation: Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of construction materials to prevent loss, damage, theft, or deterioration.

  • Audits & Reporting: Conduct regular physical stock counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock movement reports.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with procurement teams, project managers, engineers, and site supervisors regarding material requirements and stock availability.

  • Discrepancy Management: Monitor inventory levels proactively to report shortages, overstock situations, or variations immediately.

  • Site Security: Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, safety, and strict security of the store and designated storage areas.

  • Team Supervision: Oversee day-to-day store operations and provide clear guidance to site store personnel.

Skills and Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of inventory management principles and construction storekeeping procedures.

  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.

  • Familiarity with stock control systems and inventory management software.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting abilities.

  • High level of integrity, accountability, and sharp attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure at dynamic project sites.
