Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving goods: Check incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
Inspecting materials: Verify the quantity, quality, condition, and specifications of received items.
Proper storage: Arrange materials safely and systematically in the store.
Stock control: Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, and remaining.
Issuing materials: Release goods only to authorized employees or departments and maintain issue records.
Inventory management: Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
Preventing losses: Protect materials from theft, damage, spoilage, fire, and deterioration.
Maintaining records: Keep updated stock cards, bin cards, registers, and other inventory documents.
Monitoring stock levels: Identify low-stock, excess, damaged, or obsolete items and report them to management.
Housekeeping: Keep the store clean, organized, and safe.
Following safety procedures: Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous or sensitive materials.
Reporting: Prepare regular stock and inventory reports for management.
Supporting audits: Provide inventory records and assist during internal or external stock inspections.Following company procedures: Ensure all receiving, storing, and issuing activities comply with organizational policies.
Skills & Competencies
Good technical knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical inventory and store management.
Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
