The Structural Engineer at Dallol Consulting PLC will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems in various projects. This full-time position, based in our Addis Ababa office, requires a strong focus on technical proficiency and collaboration within a team environment. The role involves ensuring that designs meet all safety and regulatory standards while maintaining attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Prepare detailed construction documents using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop integrated design solutions.

• Conduct site visits to assess structural conditions and progress of construction.

• Review and approve design drawings and specifications submitted by contractors.

• Perform calculations and simulations to evaluate the performance of structures.

• Assist in project management, including scheduling and resource allocation.

• Prepare reports and documentation for project stakeholders.

• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.
