Position Summary

The Studio Receptionist & Operations Coordinator will be the first point of contact for members, clients, and guests entering MENDSPACE. This role is responsible for creating an exceptional client experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the studio.

The ideal candidate is welcoming, reliable, organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of studio operations. In the absence of the founder, this individual should be capable of ensuring the studio runs efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Welcome and assist clients, members, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

  • Manage client check-ins and class attendance through the studio booking system.

  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and social media when required

  • Process payments and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system.

  • Manage sales of merchandise, beverages, and retail products.

  • Assist with membership registrations, renewals, and account management

  • Coordinate class schedules and communicate updates to clients and instructors.

  • Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards.

  • Monitor inventory levels and report supply needs

  • Support the planning and execution of studio events and community activities

  • Handle administrative tasks and daily operational reportion

  • Take initiative in resolving client concerns and operational issues.

  • Serve as a dependable leader on-site when management is unavailable.

     

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, Management, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in reception, customer service, hospitality, retail, wellness, or administrative roles is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new software systems.

  • Comfortable working with booking platforms, POS systems, and digital tools.

  • Highly reliable, punctual, and accountable.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented.

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
