Organization: Dede Bottle Factory PLC
The purpose of the job is to oversee and manage the mechanical maintenance activities within the organization, ensuring that all mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery operate efficiently and safely in accordance with scheduled maintenance plans. This role involves planning and scheduling maintenance activities, leading a team of technicians, enforcing safety compliance, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. The Supervisor ensures preventive and predictive maintenance strategies are effectively implemented to reduce downtime, optimize performance, and extend the lifespan of critical equipment in the glass manufacturing process
Required Knowledge and skills (Competence)
Education
Bachelor’s degree or TVET Level Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in glass manufacturing
Skills
Expertise in mechanical systems maintenance for glass production equipment.
Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
Ability to lead and supervise maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and industrial compliance requirements.
