We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager with a background in biomedical engineering to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and performance of medical and technical equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure proper setup, configuration, and ongoing functionality of equipment, minimizing downtime and disruptions through effective preventive and corrective maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of medical equipment import, ensuring compliance with EFDA regulations

  • Oversee the store operations, including inventory management and quality control

  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure proper installation and maintenance of equipment.

  • Conduct regular audits to assess performance and identify areas for improvement

  • Provide technical support and training staff as needed

  • Periodically segregate and records damage and expired products

  • Perform and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain optimal equipment performance. 

  • Ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruptions. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid operational delays

  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. 

  • Generate reports on equipment status, maintenance schedules, and project outcomes

  • Ensure that all technical operations comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards. 

  • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures for equipment handling and maintenance.

  • Provide technical advice and recommendations to management on cost-effective solutions and operational improvements. 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Druggist, Biomedical Engineering or other related fields.

  • Experience: 2 - 3 years of working expereince

  • Strong Knowledge of EFDA regulations

  • Having experience as a technical manager in a pharmaceutical and medical equipment import company

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Careful measurement and analytical skills

  • Good attention to detail

  • Communication and team working skills
