We are seeking a creative,Textile/Garment Engineers to join our growing team Demka Textile and Investment PLC which is a Member of Demka Group.

Roles and Responsibilites of Textile Engineer:

To provide technical suggestions and recommendations to designing, marketing, and purchasing, and production staff.

Responsible for creating products in compliance with the given specifications.

 To learn latest trends and requirements of people.

To involve in textile harvesting, which includes production and processing.

To develop samples, amend designs, evaluate, identify and choose fabrics from suppliers.

To  make sure that the final product meets pre-decided specifications in terms of color security and durability

Perform tests on quality performance for various textiles and garments in accordance with International Standards, focused on color fastness, fiber composition, dimensional stability, and other physical/chemical properties

Prepare test reports and technical documents

Responsible for test result checking, assessment, and grading

Review test procedures, standards, and client’s test specification

On-the-job training will be provided

Job Requirements

1. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Degree / Higher Diploma holder, in Textile Engineering or related discipline.

Strong English Language Skill

Possess relevant working experience is an advantage

Stable and mature enough to work independently

Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Textile Engineer

Technical skills in areas such as pattern cutting, grading and garment construction

Good communication skills to exploin their ideas clearly and persuasively.

The ability to meet deadlines and work within a given specifications
