A Trade Marketing Manager serves as the strategic bridge between marketing and sales, driving product demand, enhancing brand visibility, and fostering sales growth through retail, wholesale, and distribution channels. They develop channel-specific strategies, execute in-store campaigns, manage POS materials, and analyze market trends to increase product turnover.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement annual trade marketing strategies, promotional calendars, and product launches, aligning with overall brand goals.
Sales Channel Support: Act as the key liaison between product development and sales teams, creating persuasive selling stories and materials.
In-Store Execution: Manage POS materials, planograms, and merchandising strategies to improve brand presence.
Budget Management: Manage, track, and optimize trade marketing investments, promotions, and ROI.
Relationship Management: Collaborate with distributors, retailers, and key accounts to ensure product availability and effective promotion.
Analysis & Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of promotional programs.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or sales (preferably in FMCG).
Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
