Projects Overview
The MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR) project, led by IMA World Health and funded by the U.S. Government, delivers essential health services in fragile and conflict-affected settings. It focuses on improving maternal, newborn, and child health, nutrition, and disease outbreak response, where mortality rates are highest. The project prioritizes both access and quality of care, working closely with governments and local partners to ensure sustainable solutions. Its approach is built on strengthening health systems, building community trust, and integrating preparedness into primary healthcare. In Ethiopia, MIHR—implemented with JSI—aims to reduce deaths by expanding quality services, improving sanitation and nutrition, and increasing demand for care across six regions.
