Organization: Bless Agri Foods Laboratory Services PLC
Under the general direction of the CEO, plans, organizes, coordinates, supervises, and executes the training service activities of the company; assesses and identifies training needs of the food and agricultural sectors; and ensures the development of training programs for selected areas of training and the provision of the required human, material and financial resources for their implementation.
The Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs related to food safety, quality control, and laboratory procedures on food laboratory sector. This role ensures that laboratory personnel are well-trained in regulatory compliance, testing methodologies, and best practices in food analysis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food laboratory operations, training, and quality assurance.
Plans, organizes, directs and supervises the execution of the training, consultancy, research, of the food and agricultural sectors.
Directs the preparation of long, medium and short term operation plans of the training, and ensures their implementation upon approval.
Design and implement comprehensive training programs for laboratory personnel, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and documentation for laboratory procedures and quality control measures.
Conduct hands-on training sessions on food testing methods, safety protocols, equipment handling, and data analysis.
Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, audits, and feedback mechanisms.
Stay updated with current food safety regulations, industry trends, and emerging laboratory technologies to enhance training programs.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment with best practices and compliance requirements.
Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and technical guidance to laboratory staff to maintain high operational standards.
Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary training records and ensuring staff competency.
Manage training schedules, resources, and budget allocations to optimize efficiency.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the laboratory team.
4.1 Education:
MSc/BSc/ in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
4.2 Experience:
8/10 years of experience in a food laboratory testing, & related field. Having Consultancy/Training/ License in QMS, Food Safety or in related is mandatory.
