driver van sales driverThe Van Sales Driver is responsible for supporting daily sales and distribution activities by safely driving the company van, delivering products to assigned outlets, and supporting the sales team during field operations.
The role includes proper documentation and invoicing at each sales outlet, accurate handling of cash and stock, and daily reconciliation in line with company financial and control procedures. The Van Sales Driver plays a critical role in ensuring efficient route execution, product availability, and compliance with company policies.

Duties and Responsiblities:
Driving & Distribution
Drive the company van safely and efficiently during sales and delivery activities
Follow assigned sales routes and delivery schedules
Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and sales points
Assist with loading, unloading, and proper handling of goods
Sales Support & Field Operations
Support the sales team during city and upcountry sales activities
Assist in product distribution, visibility, and outlet servicing
Coordinate closely with sales representatives to ensure smooth execution of daily plans
Documentation, Invoicing & Cash Handling
Issue official sales invoices/receipts at each sales outlet
Ensure all sales transactions are properly documented and compliant with company procedures
Collect cash payments where applicable and ensure accurate receipt issuance
Handle cash responsibly and submit collections to the designated office/personnel on time
Maintain proper control of sales documents, receipts, and invoices
Stock Control & Reconciliation
Ensure proper handling and care of stock during transportation and delivery
Track issued, sold, returned, and remaining stock accurately
Perform daily stock and cash reconciliation with the sales representative/supervisor
Report any discrepancies immediately
Vehicle & Asset Care
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle
Conduct routine safety and condition checks before and after trips
Report vehicle, delivery, stock, or documentation issues promptly
Compliance & Conduct
Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and financial control guidelines
Represent BrownFoods PLC professionally at all times
Ensure ethical handling of company products, cash, and assets
Products Handled
Fortified Maize Flour (various pack sizes)
Maize-based food products distributed via van sales
Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: 12th grade complete with valid Grade 1 Ethiopian driving license
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience as a van sales driver or delivery driver
Good knowledge of Addis Ababa routes and traffic regulations
Ability to work closely with a sales team
Physically fit and willing to support field operations
Basic numeracy skills with ability to issue invoices and handle cash accurately
