Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor & Cinematographer who can professionally capture, edit, and produce high-quality video content for marketing, branding, social media, training, and promotional purposes. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating cameras, planning video shoots, editing footage, and delivering engaging visual content that aligns with the organization's objectives.

Job Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or with related field of study

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in videography, cinematography, and video editing.

• Experience in social media content production is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

Cinematography

• Plan and execute video shoots for interviews, events, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.

• Operate professional cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices.

• Ensure proper framing, composition, lighting, and sound quality during filming.

• Set up and manage studio and on-location productions.

• Maintain and organize camera and production equipment.

Video Editing

• Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for social media, websites, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

• Add transitions, graphics, captions, animations, music, and sound effects.

• Perform color correction and audio enhancement.

• Ensure videos meet branding and quality standards.

• Manage video archives and project files.

Content Production

• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop content concepts.

• Assist in script development and storyboard preparation.

• Deliver projects within agreed timelines.

• Stay updated with current video production and social media trends.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.

• Strong camera operation and lighting skills.

• Knowledge of audio recording and editing techniques.

• Creative storytelling and visual communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating previous work.

• Excellent attention to detail.

Additional Requirements

• Own laptop and editing setup is an advantage.

• Ability to travel for field assignments when required.
