Menschen fuer Menschen Foundation- is a nongovernmental, nonreligious and nonpartisan humanitarian organization involved in Integrated Rural Development activities wishes to invite applicants with the following qualification and experience for Kawo Koyisha Integrated Rural Development Project:

Job Requirements

Education:

• BSc Degree in Irrigation Engineering/ Water Resource Engineering or Agriculture Engineering or related field.

Experience: 

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Irrigation activities & water works.

• NGO experience is advantageous.

Quantity Required:  1 (One)

Duty stations:  Kawo Koyisha Integrated Rural Development Project (KKIRDP) (Wolayita Zone, Gesuba Town)

Salary:  Negotiable

Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify, study, and design small scale irrigation & water supply schemes.

• Supervise all irrigation activities of the project and water supply.

• Produce design and bill of quantities for irrigation & water supply works.

• Implement and supervise flood protection structures at river banks.

• Produce operational plan of action and organize reports on regular basis.

Skills & Competencies

• Language:  A good command of spoken and written English.

• Communication

• Agriculture Engineering
