Now, we are looking Welder to ensure its’ welding and mechanical tasks run smoothly.

Position Overview:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Welder, located in Addis Ababa Bole Bulbula Machinery Maintenance Center. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding techniques including arc welding, Basic Welding, Excavator Machine Welding and Jackhammer Welding. Day-to-day tasks may involve setting up welding equipment, selecting appropriate welding techniques based on materials, and ensuring the quality of welds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist senior welders and mechanics in performing welding and mechanical tasks.

• Learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines for welding and mechanical work.

• Assist in setting up welding equipment, including welding machines, gas tanks, and tools.

• Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.

• Assist in welding metal components using various welding techniques such as welding.

• Perform basic mechanical tasks such as repairing and maintaining equipment.

• Follow instructions from senior welders and mechanics to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Doing any factory fabrication work

• Engage in other tasks when directs by the supervisor

• Engage in Basic Welding, Excavator Machine Welding and Jackhammer Welding.

Job Requirements:

• Education: TVET Level 5, Level 4 or Level 3 Diploma in a related field of study

• Expereince: 2 years of working expereince

• Proficient in Basic Welding, Excavator Machine Welding and Jackhammer Welding.

• Basic knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Willingness to learn and improve welding and mechanical skills.

•  Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

• Experience working with different materials.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination.

• Adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial.

• Relevant certifications in welding are a plus.
