Job Summary

The WGSS Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS). The role focuses on maintaining a protective environment for women and girls accessing services, preventing unauthorized entry, and supporting the smooth functioning of daily activities.

Job Requirements

Education: Minimum basic education background.

Experience:

• 1-3 years

• Prior experience in security or community protection roles is an asset but not mandatory.

Quantity Required : 3

Duty station: Mandura, Dangur and Guba

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the WGSS, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.

• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for women and girls.

• Report any security incidents or concerns immediately to the supervisor.

• Support staff and facilitators in managing crowd control during activities.

• Conduct regular checks of the premises to identify and mitigate risks.

• Assist in emergency situations by following established safety protocols.

• Perform other activities as assigned by line supervisor.

• Cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity.

• Teamwork and collaboration with WGSS staff.
