A Wheel Loader Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment, specifically a wheel loader, to load, move, transport, and unload materials such as dirt, rocks, gravel, sand, and debris. The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the wheel loader as well as performing routine maintenance and inspections on the equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operating the wheel loader to load, transport, and unload materials such as dirt, gravel, rocks, sand, and debris.

  • Performing pre-operational checks such as inspecting the machine for damage, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and safety devices to ensure the equipment is in good working condition.

  • Maneuvering the wheel loader safely on different terrains and in tight spaces.

  • Using the loader bucket for grading, leveling ground surfaces, creating slopes, and preparing construction sites.

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks like lubricating parts, checking and replacing fluids, cleaning the machine, and reporting any mechanical issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of 10th Grade with relevant work experience

  • Experience: 5 years
