Job Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with relevant work experience.

Experience: 2-5 years

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee all workshop activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.    

•  Staff Management: Assign, supervise, and coordinate the work of workshop personnel. Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback.     

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards. Implement and monitor safe working practices in line with legislation and company policy.

• Equipment & Inventory: Maintain and oversee workshop equipment and tools. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper care and storage of specialist tools.      

• Planning & Scheduling: Plan and schedule maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Ensure effective workshop planning reflects staff availability and outstanding tasks.      

• Administration: Maintain accurate records, job cards, and reports. Collaborate with administrative teams and ensure all documentation is up to date.   

• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on completed work before delivery to clients or end users..     

•  Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide updates on workshop progress.     

•  Financial Oversight: Assist in budgeting, cost control, and ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
